The Accessibility Checklist by Role
👀 Ask your UX/UI designer
- [ ] Are we meeting WCAG 2.1 AA contrast ratios?
- [ ] Are buttons and touch elements at least 44x44px? (Big enough for all users)
- [ ] Are we respecting WCAG’s line height and spacing guidelines for readability?
- [ ] Do we use icons or text, not just color, to indicate errors or states?
- [ ] Have we defined clear, visible focus styles for keyboard users?
- [ ] Is navigation clear and consistent across the user flows?
- [ ] Is the still interface reasonably usable at 200% zoom?
- [ ] Have we checked if the layout unexpectedly jumps as users interact?
- [ ] Are our downloadable files (manuals, PDFs, etc…) also designed for accessibility?
